When I took over the respective projects, I quickly realized why my predecessors failed. It was always the same: the complete absence of methods, tools, principles and communication. Countless SAP implementations have repeatedly been completely tackled using the “freestyle method”, without building on the experience gained to date in a regulated and structured manner. Such a thing is actually unbelievable – because especially the structured application of experience is one of the essential contributions that a customer can rightly expect from the system integrator, who is called in and is usually expensive to pay for!
