Meanwhile I was head of consulting at PLAUT (Schweiz) AG. As such, I trained all my consultants in the technical basics for SAP consultants, because there were actually some who could not read or debug ABAP and did not know the normal tools for SAP consultants: Database structures in SAP, ABAP/4 Query or the LSMW.
I would also not want to embezzle that I went to Switzerland in 1999 for the former Schmidt, Vogel & Partner (today’s Itelligence and at that time always Systemhaus des Jahres in Germany as the most successful system house for medium-sized businesses) and founded and built up SVP (Schweiz) AG. In Switzerland, too, we succeeded in being the most successful medium-sized company in the year we were founded and became System House of the Year. The SME packages (SME = small and medium-sized enterprises) defined by SAP (Schweiz) AG helped us at that time – SAP overall introduction with expenditure between 150 and 250 man days with detailed function lists and an activity/expenditure plan accurate to the week – a wonderful toolbox from which I profited very much later.
